Signing of: The Treaty of Renewed Friendship

Every four years to invoke the spirit of William Penn and

Chief Tamenend, the Lenape Nation of Pennsylvania and

friends embark on a journey by canoe from the headwaters

of the Lenape Sipu (the Delaware River) to Cape May, NJ.

Along the three-week journey environmental groups,

churches, individuals and other organizations host the

Rising Nation and sign the Treaty of Renewed Friendship.
