Step aboard the Mercer County Park Commission boat for a sail on the beautiful Lake. Under the direction of experienced
SPLASH instructors, students collect sample which they will examine at the Marina Pavillion.

Birding:
With binoculars students observe abundant water birds and exciting species such as the Bald Eagle and osprey.
Plankton Studies:
Students identify common freshwater phytoplankton using a microscope and operate a plankton tow from the boat.
Lake Chemistry:
Onboard students take water samples and measure turbidity.
